ICRC - Management of Dead Bodies After Disasters

Informational Poster Design (Student Work), 2019

The focus of this project was to create a visual guide for civilians on how to correctly care for and manage dead bodies after natural disasters. The visual concept is focused on small ego, big heart - this is why the characters have been visually manipulated in this way.

The main focus point for the project is that it needs to work across many cultures, languages and literacy levels. So by using bright, bold colours the viewer can project their own identity into the scenario and therefore it becomes more relatable and easier to understand.

The final concept is focused on the viewpoint of the scenes, by using a birds-eye view, the viewer looks at the bigger picture (literally) and can be mindful of everyone in the situation.
